Searching—the one word that seems to say everything about me. I went
through Indian Classical Music, first instrumental, then vocal. Soon, I found
myself teaching children drawing and painting. Then I plunged into yoga, Hindu philosophy and Vipassana. Being a music student since childhood, I saw the beauty of how each musical note lives for a moment and fades into the void—that sacred silence. And resonance lingers in the spirit long after the sound has disappeared. All this led me to haiku in 2005. Call it serendipity!
Having come into the haikai world, I believed that the elusive path would keep me engaged for a long time. It has! I dream that every Indian learns to appreciate and write this succinct form of poetry.
