Marjolein Rotsteeg

Marjolein Rotsteeg is a former music journalist and author of the book Cherchez la femme. Travestie als fenomeen. During her studies of Dutch and English, a teacher advised her to write more haiku. That took her several decades. She writes in Dutch, English and French.

Her haiku are published worldwide, and she has won prizes with them in all three languages. When she’s not writing poetry or short stories, she goes for walks in the forest near her house or she’s busy growing her own organic vegetables and fruit.

We have so much in common, Marjolein! I just have to admit my French and Dutch aren’t fluent enough to write haiku in! I remember the “every man potentially” one…
